Me: The Short Version
I grew up in a small town outside of Pittsburgh. Life was simple, and some of my favorite things were climbing trees, walking to the neighborhood one-room store to buy penny candy and Saturday morning cartoons.
We moved to Leesburg, Florida when I was 15 and I thought my life was over. Fortunately, I was wrong. I was in for a culture shock though - dip, pickup trucks and rebel flags were all new to me in my teenage years.
After high school I went to Stetson University in nearby DeLand, Florida where I studied marketing and art. Then I moved on to Florida State University in Tallahassee to earn my M.S. in mass communication. After working for a few years there, I made the decision to move to Atlanta and I've been here ever since.
